We have the best little public library you can find! Located in the historic
Kennedy building on Silver Street, the John Wagner Public Library provides a
big range of services, including: current release books of all kinds, large print
books, inter-library loan, fiction, biography, reference, movies, books-on-
tape/dvd, periodicals, wireless internet access, computer stations, copy
machine, children’s section, summer reading program, and more. The library
is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Wee-Care Development Center

The Wee Care Development Center is a local non-profit organization offering
quality, licensed day care for enrollment or drop-in service. They accept
children ages 2 through 12; drop-ins are required to provide current
immunization records. Call for current schedule and details: 970-944-0106.
Western State College
Located in Gunnison, Western State is a four-year college offering a variety
of programs, including extended studies and online courses. You can find
them online at www.western.edu or you can call them at 800-876-5309 for
more information.
