Henry Woods of Native Sun Construction will be hosting a fall colors show in the heart of Lake City's National historic district. Set up will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. and there will be a $5 table fee to help cover expenses. The show will feature George Carkin's amazing collection of antique electrical devices and a memorial display of Brian Claybourn's “Santa Fe drive” collection. There will be a talk by a local historian about the history of Lake City's telephone and electrical systems over the last 125 years. NIA members will get free admission to the Hinsdale County Historic Society Museum which is one block away from the Armory. There will be a free pizza dinner served between 4:00 and 5:00. For those staying Saturday night, there may be a hike to search some old power lines in the area Sunday depending on weather.
